Kingdom Kids

Tonight the Kingdom Kids Ministry presented all of the first graders at FBA with new bibles. It was a small ceremony but very special! I absolutely love our home church and school and occasions like this make me feel all the more blessed!

Our pastor Gregg Matte was the one who handed each 1st grader their new bible. Pastor Gregg was also Daniella's t-ball coach last Spring!

Bible 101: Gregg talked to the kids about the importance of learning scripture.

The ceremony was ended with a reading from the book "Let Me Hold You Longer". Most of the parents in the room were in tears by page two (me included)! It was a great reminder of how precious every moment is and how quickly it all goes by. If you are a parent or grandparent I highly recommend the book, but be prepared with a box of tissues before attempting to read it!
