Back to Galveston!
This weekend we are down in Galveston at our friends' beach house again! The kids could hardly breathe through the screams of excitement when we told them where we were going!
The weather is a little rainy and pretty overcast, but everyone has still had a lot of fun! It is strange to be here literally days from the anniversary of Ike. There is a lot of new development in Galveston but still a lot that needs to be done since the devastation.
This morning we multi-tasked and got in a swim and fishing! All three kids caught a fish and for Joshua and Riley it was their first caught fish ever! They are all so proud!
Not surprisingly...I took a few pictures! More to be posted in Zenfolio later!
This is "the bus"! It might as well have been a big red playground! Riley tried out every seat!
Joshua was SO excited about his fish! I'm sure every house down the cove heard him celebrating!
Once Jason got the fish on the ground, Joshua wasn't quite sure of what to do. His solution, "Get some leaves!" Joshua ran and got a leaf and thew it at the fish! We thought this an homage to Brian Regan!
Domino came with us for our mini trip! She has never seen a live fish before and no idea what it was or what to do with it!
Here is Riley looking cute as usual and waiting for her turn to fish!
Daniella decided to fish from the pool! She also caught a catfish! Once she caught her fish she resumed her diving and swimming!
It took her a while, but Riley caught her first fish! She thought it was great until Jason brought the fish up close to her! Here she is proud, but OK with a little distance between her and her fish!
