Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I may be alone on this feeling, but I am glad that 2008 is over! I am happy to welcome the new year and the fresh start that comes with it!
We decided to stay in for New Year's Eve which was nice! We enjoyed hot peppermint chocolate and later on sparkling white grape juice! The kids nearly made it to the new year awake but fell asleep about 11:30 pm. We were not trying to keep them up, they were just going crazy over the sound of all of the fireworks going off around us!
We spent the first day of 2009 at the zoo! We thought that was a good idea until we got there and realized that a good percent of the Houston population had the same idea! The kids still loved it and we managed to make it to all of their favorites. After the zoo we ate an early dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in all of Houston, Niko Niko's! We enjoyed some awesome greek food and college football before returning home! Not a bad start for the year!
It's going to happen this year...I am going to get a picture of all three of them looking AND smiling at the camera at the SAME time! Jan 1st was not that day though!
Joshua freely and happily used Jason as a climbing post to see his favorite animals!
The kids love animals and snakes and reptiles are no exception!
