Unexpected Blessings

There has been a long (very long) running process (we'll call it that) that has lasted nearly five years now of where, when, how we should move. Should we stay in the city or should we move to the burbs? Should we wait till we have jobs out of state or go ahead and settle in somewhere until then? Should we buy cheap and fix up or pay more and not deal with the hassle of rehab? Questions that we have asked, pondered, and disagreed on for literally years!

This summer we were on a mission to move...somewhere, anywhere that had a respectable school district and elementary school for Daniella. My agenda has a things to do list that looks something like "laundry, dishes, schedule dentist appts, find a house!" August 1st came with lightening speed and still no house! Finally a prayer answered! We found a house to move to in the Cy-Fair school district and we move next week! Hallelujah!

The kids are extremely excited and have already picked their rooms upstairs! The move is going to be exhausting but well worth it! Keep us in your prayers that it is a fairly problem free move with no major accidents, etc! I'll send out pics, new address, and all that jazz once we get settled!

Today we got to see some old friends...specifically Daniella's best friend from pre-school! We all had lunch together in The Woodlands and then went to our favorite park to see the ducks! The kids are all now sticky (from popsicles), smelly, and sleepy. In my book, that's the mark of a good day!

More on unexpected blessings...

Yesterday during our church service a little girl, also named Daniella, was baptized. She said she decided to give her life to Jesus last year during vacation bible school. It nearly brought me to tears because she was in my class last year when I was an assistant teacher at VBS. It was very sweet to see her up there! Congratulations Daniella Gonzales!
