Happy Birthday Daniella!

Daniella turned 8 years old on Saturday! We surprised her with a trip to Sea World! This trip was a special one as it was the first one where strollers, diapers, wipes, bottles, baby food, or some other baby related paraphernalia was not on the packing list! Everyone could walk, talk...and wipe!

Daniella is a natural animal lover so it made sense to celebrate surrounded by animals she loves! We made the most of every day there and tackled every show and every ride! I'm not sure how or why, but Daniella no longer likes roller coasters of any kind. She wouldn't even ride the baby ones at the rodeo. I was hoping she would perk up with the rides and Sea World but no luck. She agreed to ride the kiddie coaster and after a literal bribe we got her on one of the bigger rides. She rode it once and declared herself done as far as rides went. We might have pushed a harder to try another one, but we let up since it was her birthday.

It stuns me to think how quickly 8 years have flown by. She's only 8 but I had a near panic attack at the realization that in another 8 years (that will no doubt fly by even faster than the first) she'll be driving and nearing high school graduation. Wow!
