Catching Up
This week was pretty eventful!
We celebrated the surprise arrival of Jason's 92 year old grandmother lovingly known as "Grandmother" as well as Emily's baptism, Renee's 40th birthday, Mother's Day (Lindsay's first), Daniella's Daisy Scout graduation, and progress with Riley's potty training!
The kids and I took another trip to Friendswood yesterday for a some more time spent with the grandmas but I didn't bring the camera...still kicking myself!
Here are a few pictures from the week/weekend...
The are the pretty flowers Jason and the kids surprised me with on Mother's Day...along with chocolate covered donuts...my favorite!
Emily's cookie cake. There were a lot of cameras there so I kept my pics to a minimum.
What a blessing it was to have Grandmother here for Mother's Day and to see Emily's baptism!
**Per request of Jason, the picture of Riley has been removed. Imagine a toddler in her birthday suit with a severe case of bed-head sitting on the potty!
Riley will probably be angry about this picture in later years, but one of the joys of being a parent is being able to post embarrassing pictures of your kids!
Daniella was very proud to have earned her certificate and 2 badges!
Also done this week...learned to make handstamped jewelry! It is actually really easy, but I have to work on my technique!
Next to my successful necklace are the two other not so successful pendants! The one with the kids' names started out OK until I misspelled Joshua! The "faith" one also started OK, but I could not hold the cross steady when hammering it into the silver so it looks awful. Definitely a work in progress!
