Happy Birthday Micah!
Yesterday we celebrated Micah's 30th birthday the best way the Barnes know how...with lots and lots, and lots of food and friends!
They cooked up 70 lbs of crawfish, a few dozen hamburgers, hot dogs, chopped beef, shrimp, and of course tons of fixins! It was a lot of fun, especially for the kids who were fascinated by the crawfish pre and post boil!

I have always loved this towel! It survived the great Ike flood and now graces Paige and Micah's new kitchen (which I am so envious of)! It is too funny!
Isaiah and Zachariah
After about an hour the kids dug up enough courage to hold the crawfish! Joshua and Riley opted for the gloved hold!
The bounty!
I have never seen someone eat crawfish as fast as Micah! He didn't even bother sitting down for part of the meal! Just stood over the trash can and went to town! That's hardcore!
The "heat buster" was a favorite among the kids, but even this was no match for the fire the corn lit in our mouths! It was HOT!
